• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

clicking sound

I heard a clicking sound the other day getting off my bike. When sitting on the bike and rocking it, there is a clicking noise that seems to be coming from the front. I can't seem to isolate the sound. Has anybody else had this problem or sound?

It could be that one of the bolts that attaches to the heim link has loosened up.
Both sides of the bike; you've got one attachment point at the end of the anti-swaybar, and the other one is up where the link attaches to the lower A-arm.
You'll probably need to remove the A-arm cover to get to it. That's about 5 screws: no big deal!
The other one can be reached from behind the wheels... just get low!! :D

Had the same thing happen and as Bob suggested, that is probably going to be it.
When you put wrenches on it don't be surprised if the bolts already feel tight!
They do have to be really tight to stop the ball from moving on the bolt and thus clicking.

I had the same problem Bob mentioned. Mine seemed to be pretty tight, but I torqued them down, and no more noise!

 I got one right?!?

Lay down on the ground behind your left front tire.
Take a look up under the bike, and note when the Anti-Swaybar is connected to a short strut, that attaches to the lower a-arm.
Grab ahold of that vertical strut, and see if there's any vertical or lateral movement in it.
If there is: that's your problem.
(Check the other side also)
If it's the shocks: raise the bike up so that the wheels are just off of the ground... grab a shock, and try to move it vertically. Once again: if it moves, it's in the shock mounts.
