• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I guess me and Indiana Ken's 2012 RTs are talking to one another. :joke: I went to start the bike yesterday and it just clicked. Turned off the ignition the gauges went crazy and lights blinked and tried again and click. I hooked up jump box and still same thing. I hooked up battery charger and let it charged for about 45 mins. on 2 amp and still click. Is it time for a new battery or what? I at least thought it would start if i tried to jump it off but it did not. I took battery to a local auto store and it read 10.5 volts at least that's what the tech told me. And she also said it could have a dead cell. I's a 2012 RT Limited SE5, got 9500 miles on it and keep it on a battery tender when i'm not riding. :dontknow:

It is time for a new battery.Do not get a battery that is bottle filled get a seal battery

Interesting. ...

10.5 will not due...jump starting should have worked unless the battery is blocking the the flow. Connections can also cause problems but if the charge did not help and if they load tested the battery I will go with get the recommended battery and get back out there....

That's why i love this forum. Thank you guys for the info. I just came from O'Reilly's today and they would have to order me one. I am going to make sure the part# is ETX 18L. I didn't go ahead an order it today, since i had it charging on 2 amp last night and thought i would give it another try, but to no avail. Off to O'Reilly's i go.

I keep my Micro Start with me in situations like that. It got me through a few dead batteries in my truck and now I keep one handy if I go on a trip on my :spyder2:
