• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cleaning & detailing the Black parts of the Spyder's body Area's?

Check out Lamonster

Not a fan of Armour All, doesn't seem to last very long on exterior surfaces. Check out Lamonster's black trim renew. It's definitely a great long lasting product. I got a bottle for the Spyder, now I use it the truck and even the missus let's me use on her car. Worth checking out.

I like Lamonster Black Diamond Trim Renew. It works well and lasts longer than other products I have tried including Armour All.

Chemical Guys

I want to try the Lamonster products, on my next purchase for cleaners and detailers, because of all the good reports I've heard from those products. I have used these products from Chemical Guys last summer when I purchased my 2016 Triple black F3 Limited. I can tell you that this stuff works great! The matte finished panels are difficult to keep clean, and find myself cleaning the F3 more often than I did my pearl white RT LTD. I kind of wish I had gone with the white again. Anyhow, I try to be careful not to scratch the matte surface and follow Chemical Guys recommendation on how to apply there products and I has worked for me. https://www.chemicalguys.com/Complete_Matte_Kit_3_Items_p/hol99516.htm

I use Maxima Racing Lubricants High Gloss SC1 Clear Coat on my black parts because I had the can before Lamont's product arrived on the scene. It works well and lasts quite a while between applications. I intend though to try Lamont's when the SC1 is gone. Based on what others say, I'll probably stick with it once I try the product.
