Good day. I’m wondering if anybody has used Cmx ceramic spray coating from Mother’s? Manual not very clear on what to use other than do not apply wax on Matte paint finishes. This product is not wax based but I’m no chemist lol so not sure. Anybody in this great Forum have words of wisdom?
Thanks
Keep the rubber side down and ride it like u stole it.

I've not tried it yet but planning to use it on my truck as it sits out side. I read the application process on one of the bottles, it says you need to do it twice for the full protection. I'm gonna get some this weekend.

I would NOT use this product on a matte finish. The website talks about a glass like gloss finish :lecturef_smilie: Look for a ceramic spray developed specificaly for matte paint.
I just use a good spray detailer such as Lamonster's for matte paint. Also most local bike shops carry other brands, but make sure it's recomended for your finish.

I’ve got a email out to Mothers about using it. still haven’t gotten a reply back yet

Thanks. I don’t plan on using anything till I find out from Mother’s if it’s safe to use. Ken (190243):doorag: :f_spider:

I love this stuff! I used to detail cars in a new car dealership long time a ago. Turtle wax makes a similar product a little less money, but mothers appears to be a thicker fluid and slightly more work to rub off. But I think the shine is better. I use it on every vehicle car truck/ATV Can am spyder, etc and my new enclosed trailer. Mothers brand is in the list of best top 10, from a detail web site that tests new products. Some of the high line brands are nearly $300.00 for a few oz. More people are discovering it & ofen its sold out in my area..i can't say to use it on matt finishes..again IMHO....Myself, I'm not a fan of everything colored matt black on any vehicle..like some say: The look of "Murder"

Not all matte finishes are black.. my 14 rt ltd is matte platinum and beautiful. Also I think in 15 they offered a rs? in blue denim satin that is stunning!!
