Cleaning A Spyder

What is everyone using to clean their Spyders? The dealer suggested Hondabrite said he uses it on his vintage bikes and it get the road grime off well.

i use just water on mine so far. then i wipe it with that kawasaki spray wipe off stuff.

i used it on my seadoo and the wrangler and it does a good job.

i use the mr clean :bigthumbsup: car wash system with the soft water cartage it works great

I think the wife uses McGuire's -----seems to work well on the car and bike.

Is anyone doing any kind of waxing on the plastic panels of the spyder? I've seen lots of fiberglass waxes, like the kind used for marine applications, I'd think that would cut down on some of the dirt and grime.

Final Detail works very good on spyder. Doesn't matter if it get on the black rough surface. Have riden in the rain and haven't washed it yet just used Final Detail.

Correct. Friends don't let friends use a powerwasher on their rides! Not unless you really want all the lubricating grease blown out of sensitive areas. ;D
