Clanking noise in reverse

When I have been riding a long time and the engine is hot, when I put the Spyder in reverse, there is a clanking sound and the Spyder does not want to move quickly. When the engine is cool, it works just fine. Does anyone else have this problem and what would be the cause.

Also, when the engine is hot from riding all day, it is hard to start. Any ideas on that one?

A decent amount of "Clank", when engaging reverse is pretty normal...
But are you getting a delay, in reverse being engaged? :dontknow:
