• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chrome piece on rear trunk

Just a little help please.
How is this piece attached to the plastic at the rear. I need to remove it temporarily.DSCF7282.jpg
Not just the BRP symbol but the whole chrome piece.
I tried to reach it from underneath but was unable to separate the inner skin from the upper plastic of the trunk.

4-6 screws hold the inner lid seal on the trunk lid.

Should come out after you remove the screws.

In this unrelated video I show what it looks like with the inner lid seal off and trunk lid off.

 The attachment hardware for the chromse "Badge" doesn't (I believe...) go through both panels.
Just unbolt that outer cover, and you should be good to go!

Thank you both Bobs - usually the first to answer :2thumbs:
I was making it much more difficult than it really is (duh) -- I was trying to separate the lower part at the rubber seal thinking there were bolts to undo to release the chrome piece.
