• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chrome Footrest support install question

So I'm doing the chrome footrest support install and disassembled a few days ago and probably should have taken a few more pics. There are two bolt holes in the left side support that don't seem to bolt up to anything. Are they dummy bolts or am I the dummy. :banghead:

I have a 2011... feeling the backside of the chrome on mine it feels like there are tabs that come down off of the black plastic piece that the bolts go into. Seems like they would be easy to strip...

I've come to the conclusion that taking off the right side foot casting is almost impossible without disconnecting the master cylinder yet others have done it. I can not slide the original casting to the rear to get it past the master cylinder boot. Help !

:clap:It's not impossible.

I've been fighting for hours and finally called Lamont. He started by saying he would say a prayer for me and laughed. He told me "It's possible but it's a bear, take your time and fish it out of there". Well, minutes later it was off. The power of Lamont !
