• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chrome Bits for RT-622 Trailer?

In the '10 product catalog, I've noticed that the RT-622 trailer had chrome bezels around the front and rear side markers, however the product as purchased does not. These pictures were also used in the 2011 product catalog and on their website.

When the 2011 Accessories Catalog came out with all of the chrome pieces for the RT, I was hopeful I'd find these bezels for the trailer, but alas - nowhere to be found (at least not yet)!

Has anyone seen these bezels? They look nice and would be a nice finishing touch. It kind of looks to me that the trailer used in the catalog photography might be a different design altogether than what they eventually went into production with (that is, it isn't just that they left the bezel off).

I wonder if they found the chromed pieces didn't project the light in a wide enough pattern to meet regulations, so they needed to leave off the chrome ring? I know they often make last minute product changes for any number of reasons - am just curious. :dontknow:

We may never know.....

I would agree that they probably didn't meet the regs. There is certainly not much area to the reflectors. Another possibility is that these pre-production machines used parts from another source, that were not the same as those chosen for final production.
