• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

chocks for spyder

Being an OLD (84) man must trailer the spyder some times. The chocks bounce around on the trailer floor. Is there any thing like a Motorcycle chock that I can bolt to the trailer floor? prehaps just for the front wheels.

Other that that I am a Happy spyder rider

This is what I did. bottom part is 2" wider than tires. drive up and tie down to front rail. works really great plus Spyder can't roll forward.:2thumbs:

I just use some plastic auto/RV chocks from Walmart. They are hollow, and open at the sides. I drilled holes in them, and screw them down to the threaded EZ-Lock inserts in my trailer floor. That is so we can remove them or place them elsewhere. If you have no need to move them, they could be bolted down even more readily.

Others have done something as simple as laying a 2x4 across the floor and screwing it down. It needn't be fancy.

Motorcycle chocks

Dear mushroom,

You've got to have a beter name than that. I made my chocks and you can have them made also. If you send me your email address I'll send you a sketch of what I did And your not old, I am. I have you beat by one year. And living in Mexico there's all kinds of mushrooms.

The pair I got for the front are the 8" and they fit the spyder front wheel perfectly with almost no room for tire movement from side-to-side and I also use straps as well. Did not get any for the back so I can not say which one would work not sure if it would clear the front while loading the spyder since the trailer will be tilted and the front will be lower at that point so it might not clear and feather more I use two ratchet straps that get tighten at each end that make the rear impossible to move (see photos).
