Tom,
OY! WTF indeed. You need a Loner Spyder and take it to Chicago.
Thanks Tom,
Actually this work was done at ANOTHER dealership- Velocity Powersports in Summerville SC, which is 20 miles further than the dealership in Savannah (which, from the info I have was told by BRP that they had to give up selling and doing warranty work on Spyders or they would lose ALL BRP products- THAT's the dealership I have a service contract with:thumbup*
* thumbs up guy in this instance denotes heavy sarcasm....
They came and got the spyder today. see my next message...opcorn:
"Oh I used to be disgusted
And now I try to be amused....."
:agree:
... after all how many dealers would tow a truck that is already towing a Spyder. However, it also makes me question the safety aspect of towing like that. :dontknow:

I was with them when they first picked up the truck and realized that he wasn't going to make 2 trips, he was getting the spyder too, I thought about safety for about a half a second and then thought (remember I had been baking in the SC heat since 2pm and it was now 5pm) well maybe he'll wreck it and I can get a new one!ray:
Actually it looked safer than the pic indicated and I hope they all got back safely in one piece - My :spyder: included.
I know a great :spyder:is hiding there....it just needs some good techs to figure it out, imho:doorag:
My question is why does a vehicle go to the back of the line for service if it wasn't fixed right in the first place:dontknow:
I would think it would be a priority to get it out of the shop asap since the customer drove 85 miles to pick it up and was stranded on the side of the road on the way home with the exact same problem it was brought in for.:
Last tuesday I attempted to ryde my spyder home from the repair shop. breaks down on way home. Wed. it gets trailered to dealer. So, I call the Service Center on Saturday, was told it hadn't been looked at and that they were going to call BRP on Monday for diagnosis/help of finding out why it won't start.

I haven't called the service dept. today. Doesn't matter at this point- I'm not off until Thursday can't make the long trip before then anyway:sour:
