• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi, All

After riding on two wheels off and on since 1968, last month I bought a new leftover 2011 Spyder RT-AC, primarily because my legs aren't what they used to be and riding two up with my wife on two wheels was becoming problematic. A week after I bought the beast I rode it from St Louis to Melbourne, FL...we're in the middle of moving from StL to FL...in two days. Quite the ride! I'm hoping to get lots of tips and good info on this forum. Looks like it'll be a lot of fun!

Me Too

You came to the right place and there are a lot of us that did the same thing you did. I too was a 2 wheeler and changed for the same reason you did. Wife and I just got back from a 150 mile ride today up around colonial Williamsburg and the colonial parkway. it was a great day.
so :welcome:to the :spyder2: forum

Teddy & I would like to Welcome you to the SpyderHood

:congrats: & :welcome: This is the :firstplace: place on the WWW for anything & everything Spyder Related

I rode two wheels for several years and than relesid that when you get older things like legs, backs, and other things don't work as well. I bought a Spyder and could not be happier. The wind is still in my face and everything is good.

:welcome: and :congrats: on your new :spyder:............sorry to hear that you left St. Louis but I'm sure you will find new friends in Flordia to ryde the spyder with.:2thumbs:

Welcome to the Space Coast! We have a great dealer for service in Grant about 20 miles from you. Route1 Motorsports. They will even do regular service while you wait. Enjoy your new home and ride safe.

Did you ride in the Welcome Home from Iraq parade in St Louis? I remember talking to a couple with a white Limited (I was on my V Star 1300 then) and they (you?) really got me interested in the Spyder.

Yup...I found them right away and had them do the 600 mile service (at 1200 miles...) the day after I got in. Great people!
