Personally, I perfer the Motolights, they mount on the inside of your front wheeels, and turn with the wheeels.

Turn with the wheels? They are inside of the ball joints on the control arms...I don't think they turn.
No... They do turn with the wheels. They are mounted to the brake assembly via a custom mount. I have them on my Spyder. I also have the fogs...
You can buy different lights that mount to the fender brace and also turn with the wheels... That setup is cheaper, but the moto's look a bit better in my opinion, and they line up perfectly with the headlights and fogs to create triangle of lights.
My Spyder looks like an aircraft taking off and landing at night.
Now, it is true that some states will not allow more than 4 forward facing lights... or Ohio with is more picky. Note that you can buy bulbs for the moto lights that are amber...Which is probably what I will do to appear more legal.
At the end of the day, if they make me more visible, then I don't care too much about a law restricting to four.... I'll take my fine and pay it up.
Dan, I remember seeing your bike in Gatlinburg. :2thumbs: It looked s#$% hot with the Motolights.
That wouldn't be legal in Ohio. Ohio Revised Code 4513.04 says, "Every motorcycle shall be equipped with at least one and not more than two headlights.".
After talking with Steve (owner) he really states that it's a much better to keep it on top of the helmet for obvious reasons.
You can scan the sides of the road as your riding, looking out for critters, and glowing eyeballs. View where your turning first before you turn, and great for pit stops (my version)
:agree::agree: This helmet light would be great for riding quads and snowmobiles too! Your right, in that it allows the driver to look at the sides of the road for deer etc. You can't do that with the fixed lights down low. It also provides for light up higher which would provide for better visability from other traffic.
The shot on the left and in the center show how Motolights are attached to the Spyder. The shot on the right shows the lights straight on.
Mine are 50w, halogen and guaranteed for the life of the bulb and the lens.
