• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Review: Check out this Slick RT/F3 Trunk Light

Was looking for a trunk lid light and came across these, which I think will work just fine. The light has a magnetic base and adheres to the lid with an adhesive backed metal disc. It's USB-C rechargeable, is dimmable and best of all (to me) it is touch activated. It says it has a 1000 mah battery. This could remain plugged into the USB receptacle in the trunk (which is switched) or just recharge as needed. Just installed and will see how it works. Only $16 for a 2-pack.

Makes you wonder why BRP would not put a light in there anyways

Supposed to be :riding: not digging in trunk; &/or the default “go see your dealer” that they say for everything else. :dontknow: I understand there was a frunk light on RT's for a few years. Personally, I cheated, & with the 12V DC cig plug, I used a special flashlight -

which was always charged & ready.

It was a Truck stop find by the way.

**Harbor freight also has similar.**

Both my 2021 and 2022 RT Limited’s have LED trunk lamps installed at the factory. They only operate with the trunk lid open and the ignition key ON which for me is a problem as well as the low light output it provides. I picked up a 3 pack of battery operated similar style puck lights at a local store for under $10. These are great add on’s for nighttime trunk access.

I think I'll pick up a set of these and use the other one in the frunk.

Edit: I just bought a set. Thanks for the heads up.

When I had my 2014 RT-SE6(since SOLD), I used an LED Strip for lighting in the trunk. On 1 end of the LED Strip, it had a cigarette lighter adapter that plugged into the 12 Volt plug inside the trunk. On that cigarette lighter adapter, it had an on/off push button. The LED strip was bright. It lit up the inside of the trunk. The LED stripe was stuck on the inside of the trunk on the lid.

Look in "MY Albums" on page 2 and look in the "Trunk Organizer (Rear) to see a pic of the LED Stripe - it is above the trunk organizer.

Well, with this setup I discovered the magnet doesn't hold very well (light works great) it fell off when trunk lid was closed a little to aggressively. So I decided to double back tape it to the lid and ran a 1.5 ft. USB-C cable to the charging port of the light so its always charging/fully charged while driving. This is the cable I used.

I've been using this for about a year.. Motion activated only in low light.. USBC chargeable. I ditched the magnet and used Velcro to hold it in place.. I only had to charge it once so far.. I really like that its very slim and Motion Activated. I never forget to turn it off and it doesn't interfere with cargo.
