• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check one off my bucket list

Has anybody here heard of Iron Horse? They've done covers of AC/DC, Guns & Roses, and quite a few other bands, in a bluegrass format. I like their sound.
I played guitar from '56 to December of '67..in January of '68, my left wrist was rebuilt, and my hand was pretty much reattached. Lost 50% of the motor function, and about the same amount of strength. Now I play hammered dulcimer, and am working on learning slide guitar.

I remember seeing a bluegrass group at the CMA fest in Nashville play AC/DC among others. I don't remember their name. Maybe it was Iron Horse. They were good and funny, very entertaining.

I used to like Metallica until the movie "Some Kind of Monster" came out It showed Hetfield is an a:cus: and once he started cutting out Hammett's leads (always the best part of any of their songs) they went down the drain. They were good in the beginning though...
