• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check Engine Message on Top of Mt Washington at 6288 FT

Rode the auto road to the top of Mt Washington in NH last Thursday and all was well for the 8 mile ride up to the top of the mountain. However, after about two hours of walking around and enjoying the views, I started the RT-S SE5 and immediately got the Check Engine message. I shut off the engine and waited a couple of minutes and restarted and got the message again. I rode down the mountain with the engine sputtering and little engine sign coming on and off during the entire ride down. Once at the bottom, I shut off the engine and the message did come back. Unfortunately, I did not use the procedure to view the fault code and now that it is not active I will need to wait for my next service to see what code caused the message.
Has anyone else experienced high attitude problems?

Same thing happened to us last year at the top of Mt Lassen.... along with the CHECK OIL warning.
Called our dealer, and he walked us thru a few things to check. couldn't find anything.
He said it was probably a phantom code... and it never happened again.
But it is a terrifying thing to have happen, and ya just never know. :sour:
