• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check engine light?

I have a 3013 STS SE5 and while riding yesterday the check engine light came on and the warning check engine filled the main screen.
It did not go into limp mode " Thank God". And the engine never spit or sputtered.I called my dealer and told him what was going on and he told me to get it to the nearest dealer ( I'm on vacation ). So I drove it about 20 miles to the dealer they hooked it up to B.U.D.S. and said that one bank was burning to rich....... The question I have is what does this mean and what could cause it? It's still at the dealer and hopefully they are working on it because I'm stuck without it!

Code

To rich could be fuel pressure regulator. Did they share code information with you. If not you should ask for future reference.

No jerbear they didn't tell me the code.... But I will know for the next time thanks!

"Rich" means it is getting excessive fuel. It is not something you are doing or can control. BRP problem.

Well it ended up being vacuum lines? They called BRP Tec. Support this morning and they told them to change the vacuum lines and then drive it for forty miles if the warning lights came back on change the O2 censers. Well no more warning lights! Oh and also replaced the spark plugs witch BRP wouldn't cover under warranty. But in the end I am up and running and this weekend is Thunder In The Valley in Johnstown PA. Hope to see some of you there! And thanks for the input today, makes me feel good to know you are all there to help!

You had this problem on a 2013 Spyder? How many miles on it? Were they cracked? Inquiring minds want to know...

Glad to hear it appears to be fixed with a fairly minor repair.

Hope he got the take off hoses, or at least got to see them. Without visual evidence one or both were bad, it could have been a bad plug?
