• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check Engine Light

Questions

New member
Just had my new RTS in shop for 600 mile oil change. Did not even make it home and check engine light came on. What is that all about?

:welcome::spyder2:Lover. Did it go away when you restarted it ? Did it go into Limp Home Mode ? Did you happen to be touching the brake peddle with-out knowing ? You have to be careful to keep your foot away from the brake peddle as new riders some time have a tendency to ride the brake . I hope it is something as simple as riding the brake and your problems aren't more serious .

Where in Va. are you? and :welcome:to a great forum. I would give the dealer a call, but I am sure you already have. I would turn it off remove key wait for a minute and restart, may clear it up..

Thank You for responding

Did not go into limp mode. Not riding brake. Shut bike down and pulled key. Waited till this morning to start up. Still have check engine light. Waiting for dealer to open up. Live in Fredericksberg. First bike in 40 years. Great fun when it is running.
