Check engine light

I'm at bike week, been raining all day.finally stopped started my bike and the check engine light came on.bike is idling rough and then it cut off. My bike is a 2011 RT Ltd.it's saturday night and I need to get home

If the odds are with you, it should reboot alright. When you get it to a dealer you will likely need a new throttle body.

sorry to hear that. the same thing happened on my 2011 RT LTD in Myrtle Beach, SC (I live in MD). thank goodness there was a shop there and I was about 7 miles away.

Did they tell you what your problem was? What was the fix

found code for cluster commumication error and up/down shift switch. cleared codes and I was able to get home. but once there the check engine light came back on. will have bike towed to shop on Mon.

Remove the dash panel and check to see that the connector at the rear of the cluster is firmly connected.

If it came loose it would have your bike idling roughly and eventually cut off ??

By the way, I just had it towed 130 miles, sure was some wasted miles. I could have been riding my toy. It was big hit though at Delmarvas bike week in Ocean City

did you clear it yourself, or did the dealer clear the cluster error
