• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi, my new Ryker Rally with about 50miles has a CEL P0030 HO2S Heater Ctrl Circ. I rode around and put about 5 miles in with the CEL and the Ryker still runs good. Possible to reset this code in some way?

Do you know why you have a code showing? Just because it runs well doesn't mean there isn't a problem. New with 50 miles sounds like a trip to the dealership and use the warranty that came with the new bike.

Rule of Thumb - The way to clear a code is to correct the problem that caused the code.

The HO2S is your Heated O2 Sensor. The code shows a failure of the heater circuit. O2 sensors are heated these days so that they can come on-line sooner than in the old days. The heater circuit is separate from the signal circuit. I saw that the Ryker doesn't have a dedicated fuse for the O2 sensor heater circuit. Not only is it BRP warranty covered, but it is also an emissions component warranty covered. If you wanted to trace down the wiring harness to the O2 sensor, unplug it and plug it back in just to make sure it was tight, OK. Otherwise, of course, take it back in.

I installed the Baja Ron Sway bar and end links so I took the front fairings apart. I disconnected the battery and the fan plug and of course plugged the fan back. Took the Ryker to the park and when I started it to go home I noticed the CEL. I disconnected the battery overnight but the CEL is still there. I'm going to try to locate the O2 sensor and make sure it's plug tight. Anyone has a picture of the O2 sensor or where it's located? Last resort is to ride it to the dealer which is about an hour away.

Update: I googled a pic of the O2 sensor, I pulled the air filter off and found the sensor on the bottom left and right away I noticed something was not right - It was unplugged! How? I plugged it back on and started it up but the CEL was still there; however, the code doesn't show on the display anymore. I've disconnected the battery and try again in a few hours.

Update: Check engine light is now gone. Thanks everyone!
