• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

it comes on only when i am rolling.
i tried just sitting there for few minutes and it does not come on but as soon as i start rolling, check engine light comes on. it does clear when i restart.

i have no hid, in fact, i just got thru finishing taking them off.
i have tried turing power commander off and taking all of other electronics off but no luck.
my speedometer cable is scraped so i was wondering if that could cause it as check light does not come on when i am idling.
i installed regular halogen bulb on and there was no way to tell polarity but i figured that was because it did not matter. i tried taking the headlight relay off but that did not fix the problem.

i disconnected the battery to do ecu reset so fault code was gone but check engine light is not coming on any more.:dontknow:
i will do some more testing in the morning.

I am getting 2 codes.
P0130 and p0170.
0130 is o2 sensor related but I have no idea on 0170.

P0170 - This is an O2 sensor code also details below:

CODE: P0170:
DESCRIPTION: Lambda Regulation: Temporary Adaptation +/- %
CAUSE: Oxygen Sensor functional problem.

There is a test that a teach can do, using BUDS to test the O2 sensor, which is outlined here (sorry for the small image).

A tech with BUDS could find out more. Your sensor may be on the way out and is likely (hopefully) replaceable under warranty.
Hope that helps.
Cheers.

I would buy one of Ken's, made a big difference in the lean/surge while cruising, the factory one already pooped out once, try something different. If thats not the problem, it's still money well spent and it will run much better when do find the problem.

Thank you G-effect and Capt. I have powercommander/wideband2 with adjustable afr for closed loop that's more functional than ken's o2 sensor plug in(good product thou).
Check engine light started come on right after I uninstalled hid and re-tie-wrapped most of wirings and one of the wire must have pulled out of wideband2 that controls the afr.
Good to know what fault codes are. It makes trouble shooting much easier.
