• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check engine light 2014 rss

So I leave for Atlanta on the bike tomorrow at 4pm and I'm freaking out bc my other half moved my bike and left it on for a bit to warm up before he shut it off and when he came back over the check engine light was on. It's been about 45 minutes and I turned it on, check engine light still on. Tried to pull codes and nothing is popping up.
Two closest dealerships are at least a week behind and won't be able to look at it tomorrow morning.
Not happy right now.

Take the key out of the spyder walk away with key and let the spyder reset itself. after about 10 min try to start the spyder and see check engine light goes out.

I have shut it off and then quickly restarted it and the check engine light comes on.

Moving your spyder after a cold start and then letting it warm up might have caused the check engine light to come on. No damage to spyder but just caused check engine light to come on.
After a cold start I usually let the spyder warm up and then move it.

At least ONE of those lights is always going to be lit if the key is on, and the bike isn't running...

... You have no oil pressure being generated by the engine; yet the computer expects to see some.
Start the bike, and watch it go out... :2thumbs:

Little checking..!!

the key walk will let the computer reset. Check oil level restart and see if light goes out. Take a short ryde see if things clear up...

Hmmmm, I did not try the key thing this morning. I will try that next time. I finally pulled the "pitiful low cut t-shirt " trick and got the dealership to look at it this morning. I am in the waiting room now waiting to hear from them... Feel like my baby is in surgery and might not live :(

Dealership said it was the juice box. This makes the third time the juice box has thrown codes. Time to burn the juice box. I'll never put it back on.

The juice box and related issues have been mentioned a few times. That could be a problem if not set up right.

Juice box mentioned in post #8 by the OP.
