There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Elkas are great.
AND
The Elkas are great. We lost that part in this nonsense. I didn't even know what better was but the bike is so much more solid. Even more comfortable because less needless vibration is transmitted to my hands. Throttle hand slightly numb going over. Throttle hand perfectly normal coming home.
Well worth doing. Especially if you can install them yourself!:roflblack:

Something or some term being derogatory is relative. You can call me a peapicking redneck webfoot Cajun swamp rat and all your gonna get is a smile, followed with "And don't you forget it!" lol
The way a dealer took me for a ride was del amo motorsports did not do all that's on list for 12000 service.
Coolant, y gaskets, tranny filter and something else I can't remember that they told they did not have parts but failed to tell me when I picked up spyder.
I notice that coolant Was at same low level when I took it in and no sign that tranny filter was touched so I went back and confronted the kid whom I saw was working on my spyder and he confessed and gave me the list of things that were not done....
Del amo did take my spyder and did the rest but never a apology.
The head mechanic got very defensive and said they didn't have the parts but when I asked why I was not informed when I picked it up, he said something I couldn't understand and went in the back...
They must have fired that kid, never saw him again.

You got ripped off. Anyone with the physical ability to run a floor jack and two 5/8" socket wrenches can swap the shocks. I have to be careful from here on what I type as this really bother me when a dealer pees on the hands that feed them. No chance in hell I would ever go back to that location with that manager in the drivers seat. Some are born to lead, others are born to need... In his case it will be a job once the owner(s) wake up....
