• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chatterbox Bike Night Thursday Aug. 8th

better ides bob. bring wifey along to meet the other wifes:shemademe_smilie:, and she can be your eyes on the way back!
Chuck,
I'm trying that one.... She's worried about having to shut the office down an hour or so early, get changed into riding clothes, take the dog for a walk, take her 4:00pm medications... :gaah: I'm lettingher cool off a bit today by hiding over here, and I'll re-start the efforts tomorrow!

If you ride ''WITHIN'' your night time capabilities, You'll be alright, You can't out run the Sun, Just ride Slow and easy......
Bob,
I guess that I'm now enjoying the "Glorious Results of a Mis-Spent Youth!" Too many years of being "Non-compliant" with my diabetes care has left my eyeballs in a state of photo-coagulation treatment induced wreckage... I've absorbed all of the laser that two eyeballs can take, and my night vision is ZERO... So I'm real careful on unfamiliar roads and in unfamiliar condtions...
And being legally blind in one of those eyeballs (20/360); I've got NO depth perception. So speeds are a real issue... :yikes:

I understand, Is there a chance that one of the other riders can pace you back home [you follow them]..?? If not then just leave enough time to get home before dark, And you'll be alright..

It's sounding as if the group ride's timing should be pretty decent; once I'm back on familiar roads (anywhere with 40 minutes of home), I should be okay...

Chuck, I'll be happy to throw you guys on the table if it'll help convince her!
Give her a call at the office: 845 985 2284. We're in here from 7:30 'til 4:00

Ron,

What way are you coming down. We can meet the convoy and ride down. We will probably be near milford figured bill will leave from there ;).

I was thinking of staying wednesday night somewhere up near hawley or honsdale and do some riding around there and find something to do on Thursday. Then do chatterbox. We have plans to go towards long island on friday so we will be staying between the chatterbox and there.

209s, then left on neversink dr (also I think county rt. 80) crossing rt. 6 onto river road ( also rt. 521?) to NJ. then left onto rt. 206 to chatterbox. Google does not give the state rt.# of river road, but maybe Bill can confirm rt. 521

209 all the way to Port Jervis?
That's known as "Venison Alley"
Although pretty near ANY road heading toward P.J. is a good source for deerstrikes!
(I normally take 42 South out of Monticello... it's got nice wide shoulders; you can at least see them before they're in your lap! :yikes:)
The Missus has given her blessings...  :ohyea:  :ohyea:

Ron,
River road is closed to thru traffic. Sink hole across the road.
Come down 209 to Neversink, then rt 6 east, to 23 south (nj)pass the shopping center and gas stations, and turn right onto Clove road. That will put you a mile south on rt 206 from river road.
Any questions, call me(5702967892).
If River road gets fixed before the 8th, I'll let you know.

Bill
