• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Charging station for the Senas and the battery tender done. Battery tender is plugged into the Lamonster Powerplate on the Spydercuff and works great!

Well done....

Have a similar set up for the Scala G9's and the Mp3 player... even have he same color scheme helmets... Looks great...and functional..

Mine is connected all the time im not riding it... so were all my other bikes with no ill effects. Its a battery maintainer so is designed to be left connected.

newer maintainers yes, older trickle chargers no:lecturef_smilie: leaving on overnight or some other time gap around 12h max at any given time, otherwise various I’ll effects & dangers have occurred. Quick reference:

The problem comes in when the battery finally DOES reach the end of it's useful life.

With the tender connected, that pretty much guarantees that it will start every time at the beginning of the day.
So when the battery finally fails, and they all do eventually, that will almost certainly happen at some place that it is inconvenient.
Maybe VERY inconvenient.

This has happened to me.......once.
To several others on here too, IIRC.

It is better to connect it ONLY when you know it will be unused for two weeks or more.
If it is ridden every few days, there really is NO NEED for a constantly connected tender.

I like the color schemes of your helmets, they'd match the colors of my 2015 RT-S Special Series. I have a shelf in the shop where I charge the Sena 20s EVOs. I pop them off the helmets and put them on the shelf. It's much easier to stick in the Micro USB plugs with the units off the helmets.

The helmet on the left actually has a spider on the back of it. We got it years before the spyder though.

If you thought you liked the color scheme, check out the back! I bought this years before i ever even thought of a Spyder.
