• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Newbe here, Wondering if you can use a 205 in place of a 225 on the rear of the 2010 RT-S? And second will 175 fit in place of 165 on the front? Trying to find 225/50R-15 is like a needle in a haystack.

TIRES

:welcome:......You just aren't looking in the right place ...... E-bay is the best place ...... Nankang makes a 225/50-15 and a 225/60-15 ....... Kumho 225/50-15 ...... and there are a lot of 215/60-15 tires that are excellent ....I think the General Altimax RT43 is the current best at about $74.00 on E-bay ....... and the Federal Formoza makes a stock size ( AZ-1 ? ) .................. Well I am running a 175 on the front and a 205 on the rear so you should be able to. I did add a washer to each side mounting point on the front fenders to widen the fenders sides to increase clearance and I am also running them at 22#. Handling with this combo is fantastic :2thumbs:

Depending on tire brand: a 205/60-15 is almost the exact same circumference as a 225/50-15...
And a 215/60-15 tire will actaully make your speedometer read a bit more accurately.
Your choice!

....not necessarily "without a problem", jergeod. You DO need to make sure that you only choose tyres that riders already have on their Spyders (unless you are a pioneer, of course ;)) The sizing stamps on tyres do not guarantee that all 225/60 labelled tyres are the same physical size.
