• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Change the air in your tires!

I convinced my wife's sister that the air in car tires gets old and must be changed every 15,000 miles. She actually went to the garage and insisted that the air in her tires be changed. The guy charged her $10.00 even.

I felt so guilty I had to pay her back.

No joke. For real.:ani29:

That was just mean.................. but I'd do it in a NY minute!!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Have you ever smelled old air coming out of a tire? It is bad. In the old days when people actually had some interest in the service condition of their cars we did have some customers that insisted on changing the air in their tires once a year. We did it to keep them happy. It surely doesn't hurt anything. We also didn't charge them anything. It did give us a good laugh, however. :D

AIR

Well you best not be putting anything but genuine BRP certified AIR from the Dealer in your tires or they will VOID your Warranty annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd take back your Spyder :gaah: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: .....................................This is not a JOKE EITHER :agree: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: ......Mike ....... this message was sent from my computer

My wife works part time in a local gift/antique store. In the late fall, deer hunters from Dallas, Houston, Austin, etc. come out west to their deer leases and they come into her store wearing camouflage everything - boots, hats, socks, watches, glasses, everything. I've been trying to convince her that they should sell camouflage air so the hunters can have camouflage air in their tires. Maybe even put a little into jars so you could show them that it was so well camouflaged that it was impossible to see it at all. Cotton

next time she is over tell her you need a bucket of steam or a sky hook

At my first real job I was told to go get a bucket of stream. I returned a few minutes later with a bucket of steam. I had filled a upside down bucket and put a lid on it. I guess I was the first to return with the steam and not just scratch my head.

Old favorite..!!

when telling the unsuspecting about our hot rods we would say: yeah..!! We have dual overhead strips with high speed frapdabble paint. Fuel injected mud flaps high compression vittle valves and the list went on...but you should be ashamed of your self...!! :lecturef_smilie:

Might as well tell her the floor mat linkage and muffler bearings need checked every year too:roflblack:

I always get a kick out of it when the shops ask if I want nitrogen in my tires... I always tell them to fill'em up with the 80% nitrogen... 8-)

But the BRP certified air is on back order again! :gaah:

At least she didn't have the muffler bearing greased. Now that's EXPENSIVE! :yikes:
Or getting her wiper blades sharpened!

Try nitrogen!
I get discount nitrogen locally... but it's got some oxygen mised in, so I don't know how well that's gonna work!
