Chance meeting and fresh pie

I spotted a white Spyder cruising through my neighborhood and immediately chased it, caught it two blocks later when it pulled up to an identical white Spyder, now i was outnumbered, two white Spyders and me on my brown Spyder, they both had California lic. Plates, i had Arkansas lic. Plates.

I got off my bike to check them out, it was Frank and Bonnie (Bonniele on this forum), they were enroute to Spyderfest, they got off the Interstate to get some pie and a cold drink, but they were in my town now and did not know the secret pie shop location, being that they were visitors to my neck of the woods i had to make sure they got some of the best pie available.

Lead them to the local pie shop, treated them to some pie and a cold drink, visited a bit and seen to it they were safely back to the highway afterwards.

That was fun, met some strangers and enjoyed the visit, hope to see them at Spydefest.

All this made possible because we ride a Spyder

Trail Magic

On the Appalachian Trail we call that "Trail Magic"

I bet there will be a lot of Trail Magic this week at SpyderFest.

Thanks John, we offered them a place to stay for the night but they were out to see the world and were not ready to stop yet. Very pleasant folks, even if the were Californians. :roflblack::roflblack:

I have honestly met some of the best people I know while ryding my Spyder and attending events. It is stories like these that keep the good community spirit going strong.
