• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CHAD moving while riding at higher speeds

Has anybody had issue with the CHAD bracket not holding its position while riding at highway speeds. In other words if you have had your CHAD set to say maximum height and maximum angle and riding at highway speeds have you had any issues with the wind causing teh bracket not to hold and therefore have the angle of teh windscreen slowly decrease. If you have what did you do to correct it other then really reef on the tightening knobs.

Thanks

Did you use the rubber washers they supply? They make it more of a pain to adjust on the fly--- but they hold it in place . I have not had mine move at all.

Not lately. I was the guy who complained to I7 about that very subject.

They came out with the rubber washers shortly thereafter.

BUT... the rubber makes adjustment rather difficult... so I stuck with my interim (now final) solution of star lock washers. They will scratch the paint, though (not visible), so watch for that and add it to your maintenance schedule.

a little silicon spray on rubber washers will make it move easier ...but once it's set why move it ?:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

Oh No! Not problems with the Chad. :roflblack: That what I'm trying to win!:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:
