Yay!
I still think it looks odd... but at times depending on the position, kinda cool.
It was cake to install, and I've only been able to take one shake down cruise with it. At the most forward and highest position, it does cut much of the wind noise and buffeting down. Not as much as I thought it would though. It would seem that 1 or 2 more inches would be awesome, but then it would get in the field of view. I've got to get some more saddle time this week and tilt it back to see if that is better.
Either way, huge improvement!, and the mounting hardware does give me ideas of GPS mounting as some others have done.
...and no, I don't mind the whole "toe nail" thing it has going on.
