Two Cree sisters were preparing a moose roast for a ceremonial feast. The elder of the two put the roast on the counter, cut both ends off, put the roast in the pan, and put it in the oven. When her sister asked her why she did that, the response was that it was feast food. ''You have to cut the ends off the moose roast for feast food'', But why??, ''Don't know'', Mama always did it that way, So we'll go ask Mama.

More truth to this than you might think. All my life my Mom someone sneezed while talking about a person that had passed away she would make everyone pull their left ear lobe. We would ask her, and she would just say "don't ask, just do it". After she passed away we asked our Uncle about it, and if he knew why? He laughed and said "because his Great Grandmother did it, Grandmother did it, mother did it, and so did his sister". When we asked why, he said "because his Great Grandmother did it, Grandmother did it, mother did it, and he has no clue as to why."
