Central Ohio club

[Spyder 10]

I was wondering if there were any interest in starting a Spyder club in central Ohio? We don't have to be a chapter just a group of riders that may get together once or twice a month for a ride.

A couple years ago I took my first test ride at the ASK dealership, there were a couple fellas there from a Columbus area club. Still up and running???????? :dontknow:

Centeral Ohio Spyder Club

Club was alleged to have some friction among a few members and so became inactive. The website is still up, www.ohiospyderryders.org, but has little activity. Old members are checking the site for new posts but seems like some may be waiting for someone to step in and take the lead. There are a lot of spyders in this area so a new attempt to get a group going might spark interest.

Ok. I am going to throw it out there. Anyone interest in a ride within the next couple of weeks. I am busy this week and possibly next weekend, but willing to see what I have available. Give some dates if anyone else is interested.

Might I suggest that you pick a date, time and gathering location and go from there. Ride 100 miles or so have Lunch and see how many want to do it again. Most of all have fun and ride safe. You will never please everyone, don't even try.

We are Ohio folk. Just pick a date, time and place and share the info and hope for people to show up. If you try to plan something, it will never happen. I have learned that on several forums.

Hey guys & gals,
I was wandering through your site and thought that I would stick out some info for a ride. I currently live in Michigan, but from Cambridge. I would like to invite you to a ride that you may be interested in. I am coming back home for this one, and it would be great to have a lot of Spyders in the ride. It is on August 13th out of Zanesville, meanders county roads to the east around Seneca Lake, and into W.Va for lunch, down along the Ohio River
down to Marrietta, and back up into Zanesville. My wife and myself will be riding down on Friday, spending the night at my moms house in Cambridge, and meeting up with everyone in Zanesville on Saturday morn.
This is not a sanctioned Spyder ride, but a motorcycle ride put on by a motorcycle accessories business out of Madison, Ohio. There will be some Spyders, but we could make it a larger showing. LET's DO IT!
Drop me a line if you are going, and we will see you there.
