• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Center of rear tire and center of rear fender alignment question..

Greg...I also noticed several of the cotter pins are not installed per chapter 20 hardware of the AMM, some of the adhesive on the thermal barriers installed on the backside of the body panels is failing, alot of the wiring behind the undertail needs more support, the odometer adds an extra mile every 25 miles and you can see the front axles spin from the drivers seat. :popcorn:

I noticed mine was off centre straight away.
You're not being pedantic, when you pay $29K of your hard earned cash for a machine, you expect it be near perfect (first run or not). Well I do anyway.

Hence my agro over the burn mark.

Might adopt the blanket and light kick method.
(BRP might want to patent this method for the production line)

Just checked mine. All 3 are off center. I am going to loosen all the bolts including the ones underneath that hold it to the rod. Looks like it can be adjusted without kicking with your foot!

My fender is centered with the tire.

At a closer look, the bar inside the spring of the rear shock doesn't line up center with everything else.

It rides OK but now it's bugging the crap out me every time I look at it.

Thanks:shocked::yikes:

see what you mean

Sorry to hear about your woes, Jack. Hopefully, your Spyder will be fixed real soon!

Never one to leave out the details, here's some photos... (maybe I'm seeing too much)

Hi Greg H.,

I can't be certain, but it seems that the right side of the finder is not flush with the black piece in front of it. The left is. It seems to be nearly the same space as the center-line offset. Maybe adjusting that right screw/bolt will solve the problem. I'm no mechanic, just an artist that appreciates balance. Good luck. Wish I had your problems...and your :spyder:;).

As someone else said, a rag and a soft kick straightens it out. I just did it. :thumbup:
