• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trying to install gps mount... What the :cus:size is the allen bolt head? Have two sets of Allen wrenches in metric and SAE and none fit.

M10 x 1.50

Got this off of a thread by NancysToy

Update: Sorry, I misread your post - thought you were asking for the size of the bolt.

Yup on the allen - one of the two stripped for me - you can find my thread if this happens to you on how I got it out. Trying a TORX won't help as these are torqued in (as you should also torque check your new install for the 30ftlbs).

Hey Daryl - fellow "cheese head" here!

Got a set with a 7mm and it came right out. Now need to find power for the GPS I mounted there. Need to find switched power I can tap into.

It ain't easy being cheesey:roflblack:

They are not only tightened to torque specs but they have a special kind of loctite that makes them difficult to remove ... however mine were fairly well-behaved.
