• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cell Phone Interface ?

Has anyone heard any more on the supposed "cell phone interface" for the 2012 RT ?? And will it be able to be retro-fitted into the 10-11 RT's ?

I don't think there is much info out yet. I posted asking about the "true Bluetooth" also and got no response. That is odd for a board with this many knowledgeable folks, so that leads me to believe we are gonna have to wait and see. I'm with you though. I will want to retrofit to my 2010.

I paired my Blackberry 9700 to the Garmin 660 GPS that came with my RT Limted and the GPS is paired with my Bluetooth headset (N-Com). This works great. I can call out or answer with the GPS and communicate via the N-Com headset.

I'm still waiting also. My dealer e-mailed BRP for an answer but doesn't expect one until after the August break.
I hope it's a simple add on to the entertainment harness, or maybe an adaptation to the GPS harness.
As of now, I bluetooth my phone to my Zumo, and use a throat mic plugged into the Zumo, so I wear two mics.
It's not a bad setup, but I'd prefer to have it simplified by using the intercom mic for the cell phone.

Yeah. Me too. On long solo trips I Bluetooth to my Oneal helmet for tunes and calls. When two up, I use a couple of dongles so the wife gets tunes. But on the trips to work, I normally wear a half helmet and use the iPod connector, but it would be nice to be wireless. If it isn't too expensive, but I bet it will be pricey. . . !
