• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cell phone holder

Are you wanting a mount for it -- that is, is it a smartphone that you want to be able to see on the dash or on your handlebars, or do you just want a safe spot for it besides your pockets?

If the former -- see my signature for my personal recommendation. I have the Techmount TechGripper mounted on the Lamonster RAM mount with an Arkon adapter. I didn't like the amount of play in the RAM X-Grip, but many people have that and are happy with it.

Yes i want a mount where i can see the phone. I also want to be able to charge it

So, I've purchased the dual USB charger unit from Pierre at CanAm Spyder Accessories, but haven't installed it yet. (Me + Electrical Handiwork = MEH)

There's an open slot amongst the four switches below the handlebars of my RT where it drops nicely, and requires a little bit of wiring work to connect. Don't know if it would work for the GS/RS.

Your not going to use your cell phone while riding are You??? That'l get ya $450 poorer where I live. On a personal note I think it is a bad idea. Don't we all hate it when a cager swerves over into our lane when on a cell phone. If you can't wait to make a call or check messages while riding perhaps a little friendly counseling would be in store. Seriously folks give this some thought.

Jumping to conclusions aren't you? Many, many riders use a handy gizmo like a phone for things like maps and directions. You give that some thought. I'm tired of seeing you bully people here with your holier than thou attitude.

Didn't your Mom teach you any manners at all? Be nice now. No bullying was intended, only a word about safety and the law using a cell phone while

riding or driving. Give that some thought. In your heart you know I'm right! There are more people killed or killing others using cell phones here than

those killed by Drunk drivers. Give that some thought.
