• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just bought a 2015 RT Limited with only 3,400 miles and a factory CB. Problem I have is - It can transmit and shows TX, however it will not receive or show RX. Does anyone know what the problem might be??

Does it actually send out a signal on transmit? It'll show it even if transmission is not actually going out the antenna. Check the antenna and cable to make sure they're good.

I am not familiar with the CBs on these bikes but on typical CB radios, if you open your squelch all the way and you here very little squelch noise, you have an antenna issue.

Can you please explain how you know you are not able to receive? Is someone trying to communicate with you? If so, can they hear you? The more information you can give us will help with better answers. Remember, CB radios are considered line of sight communicators. Not much range even using good equipment. And the Spyder CBs are less than the best available..... Jim

Hey Jeff. RX will be displayed on the CB screen, and down in the trip odometer area. However, it will only be displayed if the incoming signal is strong enough to overcome your squelch setting. So, using your 4 buttons, on the CB screen ensure you have a good channel selected, select the squelch control, and tap the down button until it is at minimum setting. Or, an easier way is to depress and hold the down button on the squelch control until the word OFF is displayed. Then tap the up button just once. See if you get RX displayed that way.

Plus, what are you listening with. I think yours works the same as mine. CB audio only comes through headsets, same as intercom. Not the main speakers. But someone should double check me on that part. It’s been awhile.
