• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CB radio

Has anyone tried to installed factory cb radio from the rt to retro fit 1013 sts or is just not going to happen.

I don't know for certain, but I doubt it'll happen. The RT CB kit also requires the Entertainment Harness for installation on the RT. One has the headset connector for the driver while the other for the passenger. It also connects it to the audio system already installed on the RT, probably utilizing the amp and also plugging it into the mode button and display. You also have the PPT button in play & I know that runs through the computer. When I had a problem with the CB continuing to broadcast for a few seconds after releasing the PTT on my 2010 RT, the fix was to replace the dash's instrument cluster to a 2011 model to get the newer computer, which fixed that problem.

It is so specific to the RT, I'd be surprised if it could be mod'd to the ST.

Thx but a 2-way is not a CB. So the one item won't work with a CB. The other thing is a headset for a car that has to be wired to the radio and both are NOT a "Bluetooth CB"

I'm investigating the possibility of using an aftermarket CB, and the Sena SR-10. The part I need to find out is if I can use the SM-10 AND the SR-10. SM-10 for my music, and then the SR-10 for CB.

As I said before, a 2-way radio IS NOT a CB. For some reason these BT devices work on FRS walkie talkie radios but not CB's. Darn-it!
