• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks,

Dont put yourself thru the anguish !!!

Budda,
The BRP system does not play well with the SE5. Have just had it taken off my 11 RTLTD as seriously dissapointed with the electrical interference the SE and other electrical bits feedback into the speakers. The CB is crap as you probably have read here previously. Save your $$ and invest in the BT system. Current reports indicate that this is a better way to go.

I have a 2010 RT SE and have not had the same electrical interference experience as Robby. I agree the CB radio leaves a lot to be desired but find the intercom and its connections to the GPS, radio, XM, and Bluetooth to work very well to our liking. We have had issues with the system initially but the bugs have all been worked out. We are very happy with the BRP system, except for the CB.

BT system

Who makes th BT sysyem?

I have a 2012 limited BRP CB, XM radio and everything works fine. No problem at all
. I even have my phone, going to system . So maybe it's a different set up for 2011

Jm electronics

I think I am going to give JM electronics CB radio a serious look. I have several Harley associates who either have one or had one and had very good success with them. My only issue at the moment is a mount for the handle bars. Ram mount does not make a mount. Looks like a trip to Home Depot or Lowes to do some shopping. Or the CB shop at the truck stop in Wildwood, FL. It's 100 mile ride up there, but it's worth the ride. They also have a chrome and light shop. Could be interesting.

If I feel comfortable with the J/M, I will go to bike week and have it installed there.
