• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CB Radio Settings

When you are setting up your CB preferences and your in the preference screen you have some choices that I don't understand. In the left column when you choose AUDIO then move to the middle column and choose CB the right column gives you a choice of either LO or DX. What is the difference and how do they apply to the CB. I called several Can Am dealers and they had no clue what I was talking about.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Typically LO is an attenuated setting which will "filter" radio traffic. Sensitivity is reduced allowing only "LO"CAL signals (very strong signals) to be received. DX is basically a more sensitive receiver and it looks for "Distant" DX (weaker) signals...I don't believe it has anything to do with transmit power only on the receive side of the CB...
