• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CB problem.

CB works ok as long as I'm the only person using the CB. I can transmit and receive ok. When I hook in my passengers headset, I get a loud squeal along with the voice transmission. Even if I just push the transmit button without speaking, I get a loud squeal. Any ideas out there??? This applies to my 2014 Spyder RT Limited. As an after thought,,,,,,if you take the cord going to the passenger headset and just hold it in your hand, the squeal is not present. If you disconnect the riders headset and push the talk button, it work ok with the passenger headset. Checked with the dealer and the service dept had no idea what the problem could be. Any suggestions???????

Mind you, I'm no expert ... but I seem to recall from trying to install a CB in a car years ago that the squeal can be caused by a grounding issue. Like maybe the secondary CB port isn't properly grounded. Have you tried plugging in, solo, to the rear just to see if it works by itself?

Best of Luck .... Ann
