• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CB Options for 2019 Spyders

I am looking to upgrade from a 2015 RT to a 2019/2020 RT and noticed that they have done away with the integrated CB system. What is everyone using for CB’s on these newer models that don’t have the CB integration option? I travel a lot and use the CB often on my 2015 and can’t imagine driving without one.

J&M has a great CB radio that can easily be mounted on a Spyder. The Midland handheld has a VERY short range and is mostly useless in riding groups due to its very limited power.

I use a Midland 75-622 handheld CB with the cig power plug connected to USB/Cig adapter plugged into USB outlet in switch area. I use a Sena SR10 bluetooth adapter with external PTT button near left hand. Works great.
