• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CB channel while traveling

This may be an odd question, but is there a "STANDARD" CB channel while traveling? Just thinking about the BBQ coming up and all the Spyders we may find out on the road.... What if you want to give a Shout Out !

19 is the trucker chaneal,i stay on there so if something happens a head of me they alwas shout back that theres something wrong ahead.so im on 19 all time im on the hy.:chat:

Another option I saw used last year with our trip to Deals Gap is Latitude on Google Maps. It's pretty cool while pulled off to check and see where people are.

There is alot of info swapping to use it properly, but it was quit cool.

CB ch19 or not

19 is where a lot of the truckers are but it can make ya blush sometimes, 13 is where a lot of the RV'ERs go it's clean and lot's of neat folks just talkin bout their trip. It's more family oriented. Anyway that's the way it was when I was towing a 33 ft-er that I lived in.

we talk on channel 10....sometimes on 2 or 5, when we travel with different friends....I think groups just pick a channel

I think when I get a CB I'll be doing my spyder chatter on channel 3... unless its taken.

I was thinking channel 3. I seem to remember hearing that Goldwingers monitor channel 2, and since the Spyder has 3 wheels....why not channel 3 as the "unofficial" Spyder Channel?
