• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

catch of the day in florida

I'm glad to see that they let that Beastie have another chance at life... :thumbup:

Even though I'm a "Catch and Filet" sort of guy! :D

If you're not gonna EAT it; let it go!

Ya I'm a filet and release guy to. But I would have set him free also.

A great outcome for everyone here. Catching a fish of a lifetime and for the fish--another chance by releasing it back to the water.

The bigger fish usually are not as good to eat anyway.

Win, Win. :yes::yes:

They get some big halibut up here--600# or so a couple times a year. They call them barn doors. Most people catch chickens. 10# to 50#. A 300# seems to be the biggest caught so far this year.
