• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CAT removal legality?

Have to agree with Jack,my RLS cat delete makes a bare difference in sound level, and that's ok with me! The coating did make a noticeable difference in foot heat and the whole thing is netting me about 5mpg more! Been on my 18 RT for about 3000mi now.Run's fine, won't comment on power gains without dyno runs.

Sorry about the late reply. The CAT removal under normal use is barely louder than with the CAT. Only with wrapping it (or stepping on the tail) will it produce a sound louder than normal. I have thrown the CAT out on all my sport vehicles. Honestly don't notice a significant difference in power either. You will lose about 20 lbs. and reduce some heat.

Most my hearing loss is from seven years traveling with my Rock n' Roll Band.;)

Jack You were the only band member to show up on a motorcycle with a guitar strapped to it :-)
I heard Aerosmith from the front 2nd row--my ears are still ringing d

" Cat removal " ….. I seem to re-call as far as re-moval of it ….. No one other than the OWNER can legally do it …… the problem arises if your State has an OBD type sniffer test, the vehicle in question will Fail without the " cat " …… further legal research needs to be done to verify this …… good luck …. Mike :ohyea:

I had a 2001 Tahoe with the cat removed, I did weld the cage back up around the bypass pipe to pass visual inspection, never once failed the "ODB sniff test in IL.
IMHO cats doing nothing for emissions and that further proved it to me.

Yep, it's pseudoscience. Emission technology, design, manufacturing and distribution can not keep up the pace with pseudoscience.
