Cat Location on a 2012 RT SM5

I was hoping somebody could tell me where the Cat Converter on a 2012 RT is. I saw someone say that on a RS, they are located in the Muffler, but the RT is located on the pipe in front of the Muffler. I looked on my pipe and there is a Y pipe in front of the Muffler, but no Cat. If that is the location it is supposed to be in, then I guess the previous owner is sparing me the trouble of removing it myself. Any info is appreciated.

Sounds like it is gone already if there is only a Y pipe under there. The cat is a box built to a Y pipe.

That's what I thought. That was one of the few mods I was going to make, mainly for the heat problems. Saves me a job to do.

Mine is usually on the seat, and she doesn't like it when I tell her to move so I can ryde.

Someone who lives around me has one that likes my seat also. If I catch it, the cat will be taking a long ride in the back of my truck to a city far, far away. I absolutely can't stand cats. Dogs are cool, cats, not so much.
