• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cat Delete- baffle or no baffle

Since my last post on this thread, I have installed the cat bypass, and I did not use the baffle. It definitely has more throttle response and seems a little stronger. But in the lower RPM range (below 2500), it might have lost a little tq. It is a little louder than I want, but not bad. I think I will stick with it due to the fact that I want to get the ecu flashed in the future, and if I put the baffle in, it will probably not come out when I do that change. BTW, I have the stock muffler on my F3T.

I’m looking to buy one if the Baldwin’s also, did you install the baffle if so which combination did you use.

I have a Baldwin cat delete that I bought at his shop last fall. He recommends baffle in/plug off for best results. Since I was on a ride to the Ozarks, I didn't take any chances and ran it with baffle in/plug on. It had a noticeably better/deeper tone and was just slightly louder than stock. When I got home, I took the plug off. A bit deeper yet and a bit louder. Fast forward 6K miles/10 months later ( 4 days ago), I took the baffle out. It is louder on accel and has a neat snap sound when shifting. I just got back today from a freeway ride, wearing an older 3/4 helmet. I did not find any annoying droning noise, which Baldwin says some don't like with the baffle out. I'm running it with the stock muffler, so I think that provides adequate back pressure compared to any aftermarket muffler. I'm gonna leave it this way for now and play it by ear :).
