There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cardo Scala G4 and Garmin Zumo 660

I know several of you are looking at the new Scala G4 to get stereo music. I also know that several of you have the Garmin Zumo 660. One thing you may want to be aware of. I read on another forum that a G4/660 user was having an issue getting stereo from the 660 to the G4 headset. The issue was, he could not do it. Mono was fine but no stereo.
Today, I had the opportunity to talk to the Cardo Systems Rep when I went to the Dealers Expo. He acknowledge the problem and recommended to get your music either directly from a A2DP cellphone or MP3/Ipod. He said they had issues with the BT protocol used by Garmin in their 660 device. I asked if this affected other Garmin GPS models and he said no.
