• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went downtown Jackson (MI) for the Friday night classic car show. 100 beautiful classic cars and everyone wanted to know about the Spyder. Too many comments to recall, but here are the top 10.

It doesn't sound fast.
Is it a kit?
Is it front wheel drive?
The yellow one has a bigger engine. (no, just a bigger price)
Can you do donuts?
Is it two stroke or four stroke?
Can you get three people on it. (only in Thailand)
How much does it cost, $40,000?
Only 30 mpg, my Gold Wing does better than that.
My VW had a trunk up front. (and a 40 horse engine in the rear)

We thought about riding over to Jackson, but the rain came through here in Battle Creek. Don't mind the rain so much, but lightning and motorcycles are not a good mix. Thought about driving over in the hotrod, but my Effie has been giving me fits with the wipers. Sorry we missed you. Love the downtown Jackson show. Busy in July...maybe we'll see you in August.

We have a car show too every Sunday evening and lots of bikes go there also. It's been raining the last 3 weekends - supposed to rain tomorrow too :edit:

We cruise the Gilmore Car Museum every Wednesday and the Taco Bell every Sturday. Weather was bad Wednesday, and looks iffy for tonight. Spyder has been a big hit, though.

I'll discuss it with the lovely bride. It was such a nice (but short and rainy) visit at Lake George for the Homecoming ryde, we both want to return--here's a good excuse!

Were you traveling with Venym on the Homecoming Ride, or with bjt and dltang??

I thought we met after the border crossing...
 
I met up with all of them at the homecoming......and then traveled back to Lake George to meet up with BJT & DLTANG there at our hotel and had a great dinner with them and about 10 others. I am not sure if I met you or not....so many great people I met there but hopefully will meet up with you at this car show :) I am also trying to make plans to go to Gatlinburg in September and hopefully spyderman990 will be going with me as well.....sounds like it is going to be a great time at both events!
 
Anyone else ryding to Adirondack Nationals Car Show next weekend besides myself, lovely bride, and SpyderMan990? (SpyderDude--you going ??) :spyder: :spyder: :spyder:
