• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can't get enough cable slack - Installing Custom Dynamics Risers

Final update

Managed to complete the Custom Dynamics riser install on the Spyder this weekend.
I left about 30mm on the bars to use for ram mounts etc. I mounted my GPS to the right end and seems to look OK.
There is barely enough slack in the hydraulic clutch line. I watch it stretch and hear it creaking as I go to full left lock. I have adjusted the banjo to optimal angle.
I used an old bicycle inner tube with talcum powder to wrap some of the left cables so they move easier and reduce binding.
Thanks all for your help with this.

rs-se

i recently did a set on a rs se. i had to take loose the trunk release cable to gain enough slack in the left side wiring, but there was enough there to reach the handlebar. i have the four and a halfs on mine. i routed everything i could around the bars from the rear. i think i even sliced the rubber collar open to take stress off of the wiring. it all reached with nearly zero to spare.

Is there anything else that could relieve the slack enough to feel comfortable?

Where is your slack problem left or right? Assuming it's the left side electrical cable that requires the slack, have you cut the tie wrap on the U shaped cable slack relief near the front right up in and next to the frunk area and pulled through to the left bar? You should have just enough to move the bars to full lock without overly stressing the cable.
